Cowboys starter takes hilarious jab at his own family in wake of EA Sports College Football 25 reveal
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Everyone is excited about the release of EA Sports College Football 25 after Friday's reveal trailer and that includes Dallas Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis, who is no stranger to making fans laugh on social media.

After the reveal, Lewis took a hilarious jab at his family claiming "(I) can’t wait to make that 6’1 5 star corner like my mom and dad was suppose to," referring to the videogame's popular Road to Glory mode, in which you can create a high school player and rise through the top of the college football world.

With the post, Lewis is poking fun at his own height. The Cowboys veteran is listed at 5-10 on official roster, which ranks in the 20th percentile among NFL corners. Clearly, it has worked out just fine for him.

After being picked in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Lewis remains a top contributor on his team as he's the projected starting nickel cornerback entering the 2024 season.

What Lewis lacks in size he makes up for with physicality and solid coverage. It'll be a big season for him, by the way, as last year he was expected to be a backup behind DaRon Bland, who eventually moved outside as a result of Trevon Diggs' season-ending injury early in the year.

Now, however, Bland is expected to start opposite of Diggs while Lewis mans the inside slot. If the Cowboys end up signing Stephon Gilmore before the season kicks off, he could be sent back to the bench but at this stage, it's looking like a not-so-realistic scenario with the way the front office has gone about free agency.

What we do know is Lewis will be adding three inches to his height in the videogame set to release this summer and we don't blame him for it. It's not like us, the majority of players, have FBS bodies in real life. If we're allowed to turn ourselves into superhuman athletes, so is he.
